What exactly is Christian love?

If you read the Bible, you'll see lots of instances where Jesus well like he fed a hungry crowd of 5,000 out of compassion, he multiplied the food to sustain them.

I've contemplated this verse for a long time, and although I consider myself pretty proficient in loving other people, I've always wondered how I could improve.

So on January 1st of this year, a close friend of mine experienced the loss of his 96-year-old grandmother.

For me, it's one thing to say that we should do everything with love, but it's another thing to actually practice it.

You see, for the past six years my friend's mother devoted herself to caring for her own mother's needs.

She made multiple trips every day to the nursing home to make sure that her mom was fed and warm and taken care of.

And on the night before the passing of my buddy's grandma, his mother, who was 72 years old at the time, chose to go sleep on the floor of the nursing home beside her mother so that her mom wouldn't be alone in the final moments of her life.

Now that's just selfless, and that's a selfless display of love that has really impacted my life Because it brings that 1 Corinthians scripture 1 Corinthians 16, 14, that brings that to life.
